Walking Tour of Historic Philadelphia 


Join us on a walking tour of historic Philadelphia! Each tour group is usually 6-7 students with a Philly local as a tour guide.


Tour Highlights​
  • Walk around Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were signed
  • See the location of the Liberty Bell
  • See historic buildings, including where George Washington attended church
  • Find out the locations of interesting museums
  • Optional: Enjoy dinner with new friends

When: Saturday, October 5th, 1:30 - 5:30 pm
​Meeting Point # 1: Penn Book Store (36th St. & Walnut St.) at 1:30 pm 
​Meeting Point # 2: 8th & Market Street at 2:00 pm 
Getting to Old City: We will take SEPTA to get from UCity to the starting point of the walking tour.
Cost: Free, but you must register

Note: The tour ends at about 5:30 pm at Franklin Square (6th St. & Race St.), a popular place to ride an old-fashioned carousel and see a pretty fountain show.

What to bring:

  • Septa Key Card or cash for transportation on Septa
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Money for dinner after the tour (optional)
