English Chats with American Native-English speakers
Free classes & discussions will begin Tues. 9/5/17.  The following Free English chats are for any International student, researcher, or his/her family member.  Native English speakers will help you with pronunciation, American idioms, and American culture.  Bible Discussions are for Internationals from any faith or cultural background and are usually multi-national.  English Bibles or texts are provided for all participants.  Although participants can benefit most from attending all classes throughout the semester, new students are welcome to join at any time during the semester.



Tuesdays

What? Topical English Chats & light dinner with Americans

Wednesdays
Where? Graduate Student Center (GSC) 3615 Locust Walk 2nd floor conference room
When and What? 
2:00-3:00 PM; English Chat  Idioms in Current News Stories;
3:00-4:00 PM; Bible Discussion;  Art and the Bible: Compare Famous Paintings and the Biblical stories that inspired them;
4:00-5:00 PM; English Pronunciation Class;  Individualized Pronunciation tutoring through reading “This Date in History”;

Thursdays
